Take your time checking over the components and refurbishing them as required.


The engine and box needs removing
anyway as they have to be repositioned some 8" rearwards and 3" lower using the sub frames provided in the kit.


It's a good idea to give the engine
and clutch a good once over as our experience with most of the donor vehicles found is that a poor level of maintenance is usually apparent. Its also good fun and a useful experience to work on such a lightweight and simple engine.


Most parts are available
to recondition engines as are a lot of tuning parts.

The following parts need to be sent to us for modification

1. Prop shaft- this needs to be shortened

2. Brake, clutch and accelerator pedals

3. Lower steering column
